Our Cannabinoids Expertise

All of our formulations have been crafted carefully, drawing from many years of research and countless rounds of testing.

A common misconception about CBD-based products is that this compound can do it all.

Cannabidiol (CBD) is just one molecule out of over one hundred (cannabinoids) found in the cannabis plant . The cannabis plant also contains THC, which is a cannabinoid, but the hemp plant has barely any trace of THC.

Not only are other cannabinoids and terpenes often as important as CBD, but the way they interact with each other is also key to providing the most balanced state.

At RENACT, we’ve taken years to understand what all of the different cannabinoids are, what they do, and how to find the perfect match of cannabinoids for the most effective solution.

A good extract consists in:

having and selecting the right phytocannabinoids, and having them each in their relative proportions
being fully natural, without being based on isolates (*) with hemp terpenes
being undiluted with chemical cutting agents (PG/VG/MCT oil etc…)

(*) Isolates are crystals of a single component compound (only CBD for instance). They are the cheapest and lowest quality form of a cannabinoid, derived by aggressive extraction; In contrast, distillates are thick oils containing different cannabinoids and terpenes which depend on the extraction process used to conserve all of the main active compounds of the flower.

Research at Renact

When creating our cannabinoids products, we worked very closely with Professor Ronald Glas and his team, veterans in cannabis science. With over 30 years of experience in the field of cannabinoid research, his legacy has helped us in:

Creating a unique chemical taxonomy system related to cannabis
Testing over 38,000 samples
Conducting in-depth research on the profiles of different cannabinoids

In the process, We have investigated both major and minor cannabinoids, paying particular attention to their benefits and potential side effects.

RENACT is currently conducting phytocannabinoid research through strategic partnerships with Institutes such as the Pharmacology department at the University of Brescia. The Brescia Pharmacology department oversees our preclinical tests.

We are also working with specific scientific experts to focus on research, not only at European but also at international levels, providing extended testing and the expansion of the science of cannabinoids.

This enables us to offer quality, stable and safe formulations to awaken your best self.

How Renact products are made

It was not enough to simply know what cannabinoids do, we also wanted to learn how they interact with each other and how to dose them properly for ultimate effectiveness. Our research on cannabinoids led us to pinpoint a particular cannabis strain which fits our criteria for each specific formula. Once found, we then cultivated it, following our own strict bioorganic methods.

We obtain our cannabinoids extract using subcritical CO2 extraction, at our laboratory facility in Switzerland, utilizing an innovative cold C02 extraction process. As in all of our facilities, this laboratory is GACP, GMP Cosmetics, and GMP Pharma Certified.

We have used third-party tests to guarantee that our products have a shelf life of 12 months when stored in a cool, dark environment.
